The par is a rough guide to how many steps each task takes.
Open the Bag screen and add a club. Give it a name, a two- or three-character symbol (for example "7i" or "PW"), a loft between 7° and 64°, and your usual nominal distance. The in-app bag setup guide walks you through your first bag.
Create a course, add a hole, and give it a name and a par. Then use the drawing tools to sketch the green, water hazards and bunkers. Your drawing doesn't have to be perfect. It just needs to be accurate enough that you can recognise where your ball landed.
On each hole, place the tee marker where you start. Distances are measured from that point, so put it carefully. The tee position guide in the app shows how to add more than one tee if you play from different boxes.
Start a round, open the hole you're playing, choose the club you hit, then tap where the ball came to rest on the drawing. Becifo Active works out the distance and updates your score straight away. Please put the phone away while anyone is swinging.
Yes. Open the shot in the round view and either move its marker or edit the distance, club or score by hand. You can also add a note, for example "plugged lie" or "into the wind".
Your nominal distance is what you expect from a club. The app also calculates what you actually get, using the shots you've recorded. A few rounds of data make the average more reliable. The gap between the two numbers is often the most useful insight.
From the round summary, choose Export, then pick Image (good for sharing) or Text (good for keeping an archive). Your device's share sheet opens so you can save the export or send it wherever you like.
Everything is stored on your device and we don't keep a copy. Use your platform's device-to-device transfer or full device backup (iCloud or Google backup) to carry app data across. Before you wipe the old phone, export any rounds you want to keep as text.
You can delete rounds, courses or clubs one at a time in the app. Uninstalling removes everything. Because nothing is sent to us, there's nothing for us to delete on our side. Read more in the Privacy Policy.
